Unexpected Company

Bindweed is the home of two old people and one very fat cat but we share the farm with a large variety of creatures.  I never know who to expect but have come to enjoy the unexpected. 

While having coffee one morning last week, we looked up to see a peacock wander out between the greenhouses, cross the field and disappear. 

On Friday I looked out the window to see a small flock of turkeys walking under the crab apple trees and then waddle up the drive and cross the road into the neighbor's field.  I just never know who will come calling.
